For more than 45 years, Filterkon has connected Greek ship owners, shipyards and industry with three of Germany's leading manufacturers, and stayed with them long after the sale.
From one principal to three, and four countries.
Filterkon was founded in Athens in 1978 by George Konstantinidis. In 1982 Bollfilter became our first principal, and we have been their exclusive representative ever since.
Over the years we added ELWA and Hammelmann, and grew our territory beyond Greece: today we cover Bulgaria and Romania for Bollfilter, and Cyprus for Hammelmann.
Since 2003 the company has been led by Managing Director Alexander Konstantinidis. In April 2014 the company was restructured as part of its growth strategy and became Filterkon Ltd.
What has not changed is how we work: we start from the customer's need, recommend the right solution, and support it for the full life of the equipment.

Exclusive representation of Boll & Kirch Filterbau (BOLLFILTER) for Greece, later also Bulgaria.

ELWA joins
Exclusive representation of ELWA systems for energy in Greece.

Hammelmann joins
Exclusive representation of Hammelmann high-pressure technology for Greece and Cyprus.

Alexander Konstantinidis becomes Managing Director.

The company is restructured as Filterkon Ltd as part of its growth strategy.
